Yard Assistant

Position Summary: A Yard Assistant provides day to day support to the location’s Yard Manager and office staff. A Yard Assistant assists in handling all of the details required to complete each transaction. Yard Assistants are responding to accepting, storing and releasing auctions. You are also in charge of helping with yard organization as well as general facility maintenance. 

Reports to:

Yard Manager

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Operate forklift, skid steers and telehandlers
• Help load and unload customer property in a safe and efficient manner
• Interact directly with customers and build relationships 
• Write description and take pictures of items to be placed on auction
• General facility maintenance (mowing lawn and yard clean up)
• All other duties as assigned

• Ability to work in a team 

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Heavy equipment loading experience required
